We recently had an issue with a multi-storey building in West Perth. The building is approx. 25 years old and has water cooled Hitachi vertical fan coil and compressor units installed throughout.
Condenser Problem
The coil in the coil condenser was leaking internally.
The first challenge was obtaining enough engineering data to determine the size of the coil in the water cooled condenser.
Solution
Once that hurdle was over it was down to work, to remove the old one and install the new one. The new condenser was a lot smaller than the original. This meant there was a lot of welding as you can see from the photograph.
Plus, high pressure testing for leaks.
Job completed and all back up and running again.
